Orange Park Elementary will hold their open registration for the 2015-2016 school year April 13-17. Registrations will be accepted from 8a-3p Monday through Friday, with additional hours, until 6:30 pm, on Thursday, April 16.

Also, all families must sign a commitment agreement; one of the OPE commitments is completing a minimum of 9 hours of volunteer work each year; volunteer hours may be completed by the parent or grandparent only.
OPE Concept School registration is a lottery system. The registration takes place for one week at Orange Park Elementary and the lottery drawing takes place the following week at the Teacher Training Center, located on the campus of Fleming Island High School. All registrations, K-6, are drawn and placed on the appropriate list in the order they are drawn. All names drawn in Grades 1-6 are added to existing waiting lists for those grade levels. Kindergarten siblings of current OPE students (K-5 only) have priority for kindergarten openings. The remaining kindergarten registrations are placed in the kindergarten openings and then on the kindergarten waiting list.
